I have COMPLETELY missed the last couple days and I wanted to type yesterday, but i didn't get a chance since I had to work..So as a result, I am writing today.
Yesterday was just amazing...I met up with Tim before I had to go to work. I went to his house, but he said he beat my Tetris game 3 times, so we had to go back to my house and get my Sonic game, and then go back to his apartment. It feels weird without my class ring on my finger...Tim kinda took it hostage and said he would give me another one in return later on. He has two jobs: one as a stage set-up person at the TCC and he works at the neighborhood market near him. I asked why he had two jobs and he said he was saving up for another wedding. That there was a HUGE hint and if you don't get what I mean, then you should smack yourself outside the head..It's still hard to accept the fact that Tim smokes, but I have to accept him for who he is, not what he does..If I do end up spending the rest of my life with him, I have to learn to accept a lot of things I'll hate doing. He also showed me his bedspread cause he said it was the most awesome thing in the world. The whole damn thing was decked out in nothing but CLOUDS!! Yeah, blue skies and clouds..Well, Cloud is his nickname, just it didn't look like something he would chose to have..
Today, we picked up mom and took her home from her surgery yesterday to finish up the stuff from the last one. I got my Zona Zoo card and they gave me a t-shirt with it, too. The Rookie Dinner was fun and interesting. Now I know we are in for an INTENSE week of Band Camp. And that I am in a crazy section and even my dad said that with Jeremy Young as our section leader, we are gonna be the best section to be in. I must say I'm not nervous about college starting now, I'm just nervous about the music and if I'll be able to play the music and not be an alternate. We have 24 altos and 274 total people in the band, so we'll have some alternates. I haven't had a lot of chances to play the music, so I just feel I am at a MAJOR disadvantage. Even though I've been marching since my freshman year of high school, the music is WAY more important than your marching ability. All the Pride of Arizona is set on is on Excellence and perfection, so it's gunna drain a lot of things out of me as well as cram some new material in me.
Well, it's almost 10 and I have to be up at 7:30 even though camp doesn't start till like 9, I wanna make sure I am ready. As Brandon says as our motto, "Drink, eat, sleep, BAND!"
